Mirna Elsheemy, Pharm.D. Candidate 2025

Greetings to all! It's my pleasure to formally welcome you back to the 2023-2024 academic year at LIU Pharmacy. I'm Mirna Elsheemy, the president of the Pharmacy Student Leadership Council (PSLC). I also hold positions as president of the American Pharmacists Association-Academy of Student Pharmacists (APhA-ASP), editor-in-chief for the Class of 2025 yearbook, alumni relations delegate for the American Society of Health System Pharmacists (ASHP), and treasurer for the Pharmacy Leadership Society/Phi Lambda Sigma (PLS). We have exciting plans this year to enhance student engagement and foster leadership skills for our future in pharmacy. A special shoutout goes to the Class of 2027 – congratulations on your achievements so far, with hopefully many more to come in your pharmacy journey! Be sure to manage your time and prioritize upcoming due dates. Always give yourself time to destress instead of overworking yourself as your mental health is super important!
