I cannot express the amount of excitement that I experienced after Vlad Sernetskyy and I were elected to be the P5 class president and vice president for the academic year of 2023-2024. Holding these positions is not only a privilege but also an opportunity to help make positive changes for the student body of LIU Pharmacy. Being a class leader comes with great responsibility and an inexplicable sense of purpose. One of the most rewarding feelings one can experience in life is being able to help people in a positive manner. Whether it be assisting with questions about class scheduling, academic questions, or even a personal matter. Helping those students is something I look forward to every single time I step on campus. Many of my peers would often ask me why I chose to run for P5 class president and I would often say that I don’t know. However, after finally getting back to campus and being put in scenarios where I had to use my presidential position to help the student body, I think I now know the reason. I can confidently say that it's to make sure that once the minutes run out and we're all walking on stage accepting our diplomas, everyone can say “that’s my president and vice president.” I wish everyone a successful and uplifting academic year.
